The main attraction is the monastery complex — the Orthodox Annunciation Monastery, with its rebuilt church at the centre. The complex also houses the Icon Museum, one of the more significant collections of its kind in Poland, with a large icon collection and surviving fragments of 16th-century frescoes. It's also worth walking along the boulevards by the Supraśl river, seeing the wooden Weavers' Houses left from when the town was a textile centre, and the neo-Gothic Buchholtz family chapel-mausoleum at the old Evangelical cemetery.
A relaxed walk around the main sights, including the Icon Museum, takes roughly 2-3 hours.
