We drive to Wasilków every day, 24 hours a day. Below: the price, the drive time, and a short guide to what's worth seeing there.
A ride from Białystok to Wasilków starts from 31 PLN one way. We give you the exact price as soon as you tell us the pickup address and the destination in Wasilków — before you confirm the booking.
Wasilków sits right on Białystok's northern edge, at the gateway to the Knyszyńska Forest. In normal traffic the drive takes around 15-20 minutes.
The fastest way is to call 888-888-111 or book online in the Bi.tax app. You can also book the return trip straight away, or ask the driver to wait on site if you're planning a short stop.
In the centre, look for the brick Church of the Transfiguration, built in 1880-1883 and rebuilt after wartime damage in 1944, with a preserved wooden Stations of the Cross and a 19th-century baptismal font, plus the nearby Orthodox Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Byzantine-Ruthenian style, with an ornate gate and domes. A few minutes away is Święta Woda ("Holy Water") — a pilgrimage site with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows, a miraculous spring, and the Hill of Crosses topped by a Jubilee Pilgrims' Cross. In summer, the Wasilków reservoir with its beach and water-ski lift is popular too. Nearby you can also visit the open-air Białystok Village Museum and the Nadawki farm, with a small petting zoo for kids.
An hour to ninety minutes is usually enough for the centre, the church and the Orthodox church. Add a visit to Święta Woda and a walk by the reservoir, and it can fill half a day.
